Job summary

TTP plc, an employee-owned technology and product development consultancy, seeks a PhD Graduate Consultant (Physics) to join multidisciplinary project teams. You’ll invent, analyse, design prototypes, and transfer to manufacture while growing commercial acumen and leading projects.

Expect to build client relationships and represent the firm at conferences in the UK and internationally. You will work on diverse applications—from drug delivery devices to AI-assisted discovery and 5G

Qualifications

Deep intellectual curiosity and inventiveness, desire to understand fundamentals. 2:1 in Physics and PhD to be completed in 6–12 months.
Commercially aware and entrepreneurial; excited to turn breakthrough technologies into real-world products.
Proactive and self-starting with personal responsibility.
Collaborative and emotionally intelligent; able to communicate complex technical ideas clearly.
Strategic and systems-minded; balance commercial aspects with technology development and ambiguity.
