Job summary

You will investigate how non-coding RNAs and their dynamic modifications influence ageing, using Oxford Nanopore direct RNA sequencing to map modifications in molecular biology models.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field is required.

Responsibilities

• Join a collaborative PhD project between the University of East Anglia (UK) and a partner lab in China.
• Use Oxford Nanopore direct RNA sequencing to map RNA modifications and study ageing.
• Investigate how non-coding RNAs and their modifications influence ageing in animal models.
• Train and work within the Norwich Research Park and pursue CSC/UEA PhD studentship funding.
