Job summary
Imperial is offering a 3.5-year PhD studentship focused on structural power composites (SPCs) with machine learning-driven surrogate models and Bayesian process simulations. You will work across the SPC and IDEA lab teams with industrial partners and other universities to develop a geometry-transferable design-to-manufacture pipeline.
Supervised by Dr Ajit Panesar and Prof. Emile Greenhalgh, the project spans Imperial, Bristol and Durham, with collaborations at Chalmers and KTH.
