Are you an experienced and visionary pharmacy leader looking to make a lasting impact on workforce development across one of the largest NHS Trusts in the UK?

We’re seeking an experienced, forward-thinking pharmacist to lead workforce transformation at the Royal London Hospital. This senior role involves shaping pharmacy education, training, and career development, supporting strategic workforce planning across Barts Health and the wider Integrated Care System (ICS).

You will lead the delivery of a workforce vision aligned with national priorities such as the NHS People Plan. Collaborating with internal and external partners—including NHSE, universities, ICS colleagues, and regulatory bodies—you’ll help develop a modern, flexible, and patient-centred pharmacy workforce.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead workforce planning and pharmacy transformation.
  2. Design structured training and career pathways.
  3. Oversee high-quality pre-registration training aligned with GPhC and NHSE standards.

We’re seeking a GPhC-registered pharmacist with senior leadership experience in workforce development, strategic thinking, and a passion for developing others. You’ll be part of a supportive team with access to professional development and mentoring.
