Job summary

Boots is seeking a Trainee Dispenser to join our store pharmacy team in the UK. You will support the pharmacist, learn dispensing, greet customers, and take part in NVQ2 training.

No previous experience required; full training provided. This in-store role involves dispensing prescriptions, giving medicines guidance, and contributing to patient safety.

Completion of the training leads to potential progression as a Pharmacy Technician or in-store leadership.

Qualifications

• Desire to learn and complete the Dispenser training programme (NVQ2).
• Current and valid UK right to work. This role is not eligible for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker Visa.

Responsibilities

• Complete your training for the Pharmacy Advisor NVQ2 programme.
• Prescription dispensing whilst ensuring the safe supply of medicines e.g. ordering medicines, labelling, dispensing, endorsing and collection of prescriptions.
