Are you a Pharmacy Technician looking for a rewarding locum hospital role in the West Midlands?
We have an exciting opportunity with great pay and flexibility!

• Job Title: Pharmacy Technician
• Location: West Midlands - NHS Hospital service
• Duration: 2 months initially (with a view to extend)
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am–6pm (30-minute break)
• Start Date: ASAP, May 2025
• End Date: Ongoing
• Rate of Pay: £17 – £21 per hour (via Umbrella, DOE)

What You’ll Be Doing:

Join our NHS client's team as a Pharmacy Technician and support a busy NHS Outpatient Hospital Pharmacy. In this role, you will:

• Dispense and label medications in accordance with hospital protocols
• Support pharmacists in preparing and issuing prescriptions
• Assist in maintaining stock levels and ordering supplies
• Liaise with patients and clinical staff regarding medication queries
• Contribute to a safe, effective and efficient outpatient dispensary service

Requirements & Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A valid NVQ3 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent qualification
• Registration with the GPhC as a Pharmacy Technician
• Previous experience in a hospital or busy community setting
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• A team-oriented and proactive approach to service delivery

This is a full-time locum position, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.

The contract is initially for 2 months, with a strong possibility of extension depending on performance and service needs.
