Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-driven Pharmacy Technician in Shropshire to join a supportive and forward-thinking pharmacy team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified ACT to make a real impact in a growing, community-oriented pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct final accuracy checks on dispensed medications to ensure full compliance with legal, safety, and operational standards.

  • Support the dispensing process, verifying that medications are prepared and labelled accurately.

  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of prescriptions and immediately report discrepancies.

  • Mentor and support junior staff to maintain a culture of excellence and compliance.

  • Engage in continuous professional development, staying abreast of regulatory updates and best practices.

What Were Looking For:
  • NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services (or equivalent, per GPhC standards).

  • Registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council.

  • Proven experience in accuracy checking within a pharmacy setting.

  • Strong working knowledge of UK pharmacy regulations and protocols.
