We are looking for a pharmacy technician to join our expanding and supportive medicines management team, within the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Sexual Health and HIV Service.
Our pharmacy team are well integrated within the Multidisciplinary Sexual Health and HIV Service. Our team combine a range of specialisms and backgrounds to offer a high quality, safe and patient focused medicines management/clinical pharmacy service to our workforce, and our patients throughout Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.
The pharmacy technician will support the Specialist Pharmacists to minimise medicines wastage and to liaise with the homecare pharmacy providing HIV drugs.
The role will be based at one of our sexual health hubs, but occasional travel to other areas across Hampshire and Isle of Wight will be required and therefore you will need to have access to your own mode of transport. The service operates a hub and spoke model of care. Working hours for the team are currently Monday to Friday (business hours), with no routine requirement for weekends, bank holidays or on-call. Flexible and hybrid working arrangements may be considered for the successful applicant.
