An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Aseptic team of the Pharmacy Department, applicants are welcomed from registered Pharmacy Technicians and Science Manufacturing Technicians.

This is your opportunity to join a multidisciplinary team providing essential treatments to the people of North Cumbria.

This post is suitable for pre-registration pharmacy technicians qualifying Summer 2024.

Main duties of the job

The role is varied and will include

  • Co-ordination of day to day activities.
  • Preparation of aseptically prepared products.
  • Dispensing of outsourced parenteral products.
  • Undertaking pre-process checking of assembled trays.
  • In-process checking during preparation.
  • Accuracy checking of dispensed parenteral products.
  • Generating worksheets for aseptically prepared products.
