Pharmacy Technician - Rotational
We have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join our Pharmacy team based at The London Clinic in Central London, W1G 6BW, with a Band 5 Salary range on offer dependent on experience.
The Pharmacy department at The London Clinic comprises a number of areas which work together to provide effective patient services and the best possible outcomes for our patients.
The London Clinic's Pharmacy Department is a close-knit team with around 45 staff members. The Pharmacy department comprises 9 core services: On Call, Dispensary Services, Distribution and Top Up Service, Procurement, Clinical Ward Pharmacy Services, Provision of Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN), Aseptic/Technical Services, Clinical Governance, and Education and Training.
We have extensive oncology services, including a purpose-built chemotherapy aseptic compounding suite, as well as an automated medication dispensing system which supports decentralised medicine management in numerous wards.
Job Profile
As a Rotational Pharmacy Technician, you will participate in a safe, efficient, and accurate technician-led pharmacy operational service across all sites at The London Clinic. This is a rotational post through Dispensary, Distribution, and Procurement with the eventual addition of Ward services.
The post holder will ensure that the services are delivered in a safe, effective, economic, and timely manner and will be responsible for ensuring that all documentation and procedures are carried out in accordance with current legislation and guidelines.
Job Type: This is a full-time, permanent position working 37.5 hours per week.
Shifts: Monday to Friday 8.30am to 7.30pm as rostered.
Salary: Band 5 salary equivalent.
