About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pharmacy Technician to join our team in the Rotherham Alcohol and Drug Service (ROADS). You will manage medicines, ensure safe use, and support clients on their recovery journey. The role involves managing medication storage and developing services, with opportunities to educate frontline teams. You should be compassionate, motivated, well-organized, and possess excellent communication skills. Flexibility for Saturday and/or evening work may be required.

To succeed, you need:

  • Registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the GPhC
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development
  • At least 2 years post-qualification experience in a pharmacy setting
  • Experience advising clients on medicines
  • Experience working in a multidisciplinary team
  • Knowledge of controlled drugs regulations
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Comfort with IT and data analysis
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and know when to refer
  • Willingness to travel as needed
