We are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for a qualified Pharmacy Technician to join our Primary Care Network team, employed by Roby Medical Centre and based at the welcoming and well-established GP training practice, Dinas Lane Medical Centre.

Working closely with two experienced clinical pharmacists, you will play a vital role in helping us deliver safe, effective, and patient-centred care. This is a highly valued position within the practice team, with strong clinical support and a genuine focus on learning and development.

Main duties of the job

You will contribute to a range of medicines optimisation and patient safety initiatives. Your day-to-day work will include:

  • Supporting medication reviews and medicines reconciliation
  • Helping patients understand and use their medicines correctly
  • Promoting safe and effective repeat prescribing processes
  • Assisting in audits, service improvement, and prescribing projects
  • Liaising with local pharmacies and secondary care to ensure continuity of care
  • Playing an active role in reducing medicines waste and improving outcomes

Youll be a key part of our multidisciplinary team and will benefit from the opportunity to grow your skills and knowledge in a collaborative, supportive environment.
