A large NHS healthcare provider in Sheffield is seeking a motivated pharmacy technician to join their friendly team. In this full-time role, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient services and support the dispensary. Applicants should be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council and have a passion for improving patient care. Weekend and late-night duties are required.
Pharmacy Technicians without an accuracy checking pharmacy technician qualification will be considered but will be expected to work towards this as band 4 to 5 progression.
This is an exciting opportunity for a pharmacy technician to join our dynamic, innovative, and friendly team dedicated to improving our Patient Services. We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, and patient-oriented pharmacy technician with experience and a passion for this area of work within hospital pharmacy.
You will work with the dispensary team and the medicines management team to help implement, deliver, and continually improve the technical support for both in-patient and out-patient services. You will also have the additional challenge of acting as a deputy to the senior pharmacy technicians.
You should have a keen interest in IT and a desire to further develop your management and IT skills.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a large multidisciplinary team are essential. You should be friendly, approachable, adaptable, flexible, willing to learn new skills, and committed to continuous professional development.
All applicants must be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council as a pharmacy technician.
This is a full-time post, and the post holder will be required to participate in the weekend and late-night duty rota.
