Job Description:

Mediplacements are looking for an experienced band 5 Pharmacy Technician to work at a clinic in Surrey.

The pay for this position is £18 - £21 per hour, and we are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible for an ongoing duration.

Duties include:

  1. Provide a pharmaceutical service for inpatients at Kingston Hospital in line with Trust and National standards.
  2. Complete medicines reconciliation within a timely manner to meet NICE guidance and highlight discrepancies to ward pharmacist.
  3. Provide advice to patients, carers, and healthcare professionals on medication issues to achieve the best outcomes for the patients.
  4. Provide pharmaceutical training, supervision, and support for colleagues.
  5. Assess patients' own drugs (POD) for re-use.
  6. Adapt as required when working in different ward specialities.
