Mediplacements are looking for an experienced band 5 Pharmacy Technician to work at a clinic in Surrey.
The pay for this position is £18 - £21 per hour, and we are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible for an ongoing duration.
Duties include:
- Provide a pharmaceutical service for inpatients at Kingston Hospital in line with Trust and National standards.
- Complete medicines reconciliation within a timely manner to meet NICE guidance and highlight discrepancies to ward pharmacist.
- Provide advice to patients, carers, and healthcare professionals on medication issues to achieve the best outcomes for the patients.
- Provide pharmaceutical training, supervision, and support for colleagues.
- Assess patients' own drugs (POD) for re-use.
- Adapt as required when working in different ward specialities.
