We are seeking Pharmacy Technicians to join our Primary Care Team, working in GP Practices and pharmacy bases. Responsibilities include medicines reconciliation, reviewing discharge and outpatient letters, managing prescription requests, and answering medication queries. There are also opportunities for medication reviews via telephone, in GP practices, or in patients' homes, along with conducting prescribing audits and medication cost efficiency projects.
You will be supported by an established primary care team delivering Pharmacotherapy services across Fife, working closely with Pharmacists, Support Workers, and GP clinicians. Training and support will be provided.
We serve approximately 380,000 people with a team of around 300 pharmacy staff committed to providing high-quality pharmaceutical care.
This role involves travel between practices and NHS Fife sites, so the ability to travel efficiently and safely is essential.
