An established healthcare provider is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join their dynamic Primary Care Team. Are you a qualified Pharmacy Technician registered with the GPhC with a proven track record for patient care within pharmacy? Do you possess excellent interpersonal and IT skills? Have you been part of a multi-disciplinary team?
If yes, NHS Fife has an exciting role for you within our Primary Care Team. Your responsibilities will include medicines reconciliation, reviewing discharge and outpatient letters, handling prescription requests, and answering medication-related queries. You will also have opportunities to conduct medication reviews in various settings, including telephone consultations, GP practices, or patients' homes, along with participating in prescribing audits and medication cost efficiency projects.
You will be supported by our established primary care team delivering Pharmacotherapy services across Fife, working closely with Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, Support Workers, and GP clinicians. Training and support will be provided.
NHS Fife serves a population of approximately 380,000 people with a team of around 300 pharmacy staff dedicated to providing high-quality pharmaceutical care.
This role involves travel between practices and NHS Fife sites, so the ability to travel efficiently and safely is essential.
