As a key member of our Pharmacy team, you will play an essential role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medicines. You will work closely with theWyre Forest Health PartnershipPharmacy team, supporting the delivery of patient-centered care in line with the evolving needs of medicines management and Primary Care Networks (PCNs).

Main duties of the job
  • Assist in delivering pharmaceutical care to meet patients health and wellbeing needs.
  • Contribute to the safe and effective use of medicines, ensuring cost efficiency.
  • Assist in assessing peoples health and wellbeing within the context of their medicines.
  • Movement and management of medicines.
  • Establish and maintain communication with people about pharmacy activities and medicines.
  • Modify and structure data, information, computer records and stock management documents.
  • Develop own knowledge and skills and contribute to the development of others.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of services.
  • Monitor and maintain health and safety and security of self and others.
  • Contribute to quality improvement.
  • Promote peoples equality, diversity and rights.

WFHP has been operating since December 2014 as a single Partnership, operating out of 5 surgeries, 3 are purpose built. We operate at scale and are at the forefront of primary care delivery in how we organise ourselves, having a large number of primary care employees (c300 employees including c50 GPs). Person Specification
Qualifications
  • - GCSE grade A to C or equivalent in English and Maths
  • - NVQ Level 3, or above, BTEC or equivalent
  • - Professional Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
Experience
  • - Experience of administrative duties.
  • - Experience in communicating, working effectively and co-operatively with a wide range of people of different backgrounds and viewpoints.
  • - IT literate and a competent user of the MS Office.
  • - Experience of working in a Healthcare and or Pharmacy environment.
  • - Experience of working in NHS .
