Overview

Under the direction of the Pharmacy Technician Manager, the technician fills routine orders for unit doses and prepackaged pharmaceuticals and assists staff pharmacists as directed.

Responsibilities
  1. Medication Fills
  2. Compounding of Sterile Products
  3. Timeliness of Functions
  4. Inventory Control
  5. Hospital Area Inspections
  6. Patient Billing
  7. Requisitions/acudose
  8. Maintaining the Pharmacy Environment
  9. Computer Skills
Qualifications

1 year hospital experience preferred or other relevant experience as a medical technician. Pharmacy certification required.

  • Ability To Keep Confidential Information Regarding Patients and Team Members
