A leading NHS foundation trust is seeking a motivated Band 5 Pharmacy Technician to join the Virtual Pharmacy Homecare Service in Cambridge. This role offers the chance to manage the delivery of essential medications directly to patients’ homes. The 'Virtual Pharmacy Homecare Service' have an exciting opportunity to welcome a Band 5 Pharmacy Technician into the team. The UK Pharmacy Homecare sector is growing rapidly, and the CUH pharmacy Homecare team currently manages the supply of medicines directly to the homes of over 9,000 patients.
We are looking for an organized, forward thinking and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a highly specialised patient cohort and various clinical teams including to name a few, Rheumatology, Dermatology, Gastroenterology, Neurology.
You will play a key role in the provision of specialist services: high-cost drugs, medicines optimisation and the management of clinical queries to help us to deliver and improve the quality of patient treatment and care. Maintaining the safe supply of medicines and treatment to patient’s homes.
Homecare Pharmacy experience is not essential, as full training will be provided.
