A healthcare organization in Liverpool seeks a Pharmacy Technician to join their team at HMP Liverpool. The role involves supporting medication management, conducting reconciliations, and ensuring the provision of prescribed medications. We are looking for a Pharmacy Technician to join our expanding Pharmacy and Medicines Management Team at HMP Liverpool. The team includes a Senior Pharmacist, Pharmacist, Lead Pharmacy Technician, Pharmacy Technicians, and Pharmacy Assistants.
The team collaborates with Primary Care, Substance Misuse, and Inpatient Teams to meet patient needs within the prison. Your responsibilities include supporting medication rounds, conducting medication reconciliations upon reception, responding to medication queries, and ensuring the provision of prescribed and stock medications, including TTO medications. You will oversee medication-related practices such as managing controlled drugs and critical medications.

Experience in offender health is beneficial, but we welcome passionate individuals eager to work with this vulnerable group.
