Are you a GP Surgery Pharmacy Technician looking for a flexible locum role in a GP surgery in Lancashire? We have an exciting opportunity with great pay and hybrid working options!

- Job Title: Locum GP Surgery Pharmacy Technician - Band: Not specified - Location: Lancashire - GP Surgery based - Duration: Approx. 3 months - Schedule: 3 - 4 days per week (flexible), ideally 8:00am-6:00pm with 30-minute break - morning/afternoon sessions may be considered - Start Date: ASAP, June/July 2025 - Rate of Pay: �19 - �24 per hour DOE and hours worked - Contact: Alex Roberts - [e-mail] - 0203 475 4858

What You'll Be Doing: Join a Lancashire-based GP surgery as a Locum Pharmacy Technician and support the clinical team in handling incoming hospital letters and medication-related administrative tasks. In this role, you will:

Process and file hospital letters using Docman

Liaise with pharmacists and GPs to action medication queries

Update patient records and medication histories on EMIS

Attend site 1-2 weeks initially (hybrid/remote considered thereafter)

Requirements & Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need:

Previous experience working in a GP surgery or primary care setting

Proficiency using EMIS and Docman

GPhC registration as a Pharmacy Technician

Excellent administrative and communication skills

Working Hours & Contract Duration: Flexible working offered - approx. 3 days per week, with the possibility of more based on service needs. Contract is for around 3 months, with potential extension.
