A leading company is seeking a dedicated Locum Pharmacy Technician for the Cancer Services department of an NHS hospital in Oxford. This role offers a flexible working pattern across 3 to 5 days a week and provides an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a specialist setting while receiving full NHS training.

Locum Pharmacy Technician - Cancer Services - NHS Hospital - Oxford

�15-�20 per hour | ASAP Start | Ongoing Contract | Flexible Working Pattern

Hunter AHP have a fantastic opportunity for a Locum Pharmacy Technician to join the Cancer Services department of an NHS hospital in Oxford!

Role details:

Position : Locum Pharmacy Technician - Cancer Services

Setting : NHS Hospital

Location : Oxford

Start Date : ASAP

Contract Length : Ongoing

Working Pattern : 3, 4 or 5 days per week (flexible)

Hourly Rate : �15 to �20 per hour, paid weekly

Key Requirements:

GPhC-registered Pharmacy Technician

Previous NHS experience is desirable but not essential

NHS training will be provided for community-experienced technicians looking to transition into hospital work

Duties include:

Supporting the oncology pharmacy team in the preparation and supply of chemotherapy and supportive medication

Handling prescriptions, checking stock levels, and managing inventory for cancer services

Working closely with pharmacists and clinical staff to ensure safe, timely medication delivery

Assisting in the preparation of treatment charts and patient-specific medication trays

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated pharmacy technician to gain experience in a specialist hospital setting with full NHS training provided.
