Job summary

Rainham is recruiting for a Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to join a busy pharmacy team. This role is ideal for progression within pharmacy and to develop the skills and knowledge to become a registered Pharmacy Technician.

You will undertake Level 3 Pharmacy Technician Apprenticeship with blended learning, gaining experience while earning a wage and preparing for GPhC registration.

Qualifications

• GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 (Maths & English desirable)
• Maths/English Level 2 if not present may be provided via course
• Willingness to complete tests to determine course suitability

Responsibilities

• Manage, order, receive and supply medicines and pharmaceutical products safely and accurately
• Provide person-centred advice to patients on prescriptions and OTC medicines
• Support day-to-day pharmacy operations including stock control and governance
• Supervise and support pharmacy support staff as you progress
• Assist training and mentoring of new staff
• Maintain high standards through auditing and feedback responses

RM13 7PP We are recruiting for a Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to join a busy pharmacy team. This role is ideal for someone looking to progress within pharmacy and develop the skills and knowledge needed to become a registered Pharmacy Technician.

Qualifications Required

GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent, in Maths and English desired but not essential as can be provided as part of the course.
For applicants without Maths and English Level 2 or equivalent qualifications, employment will be offered on condition of completing initial Maths and English tests to determine suitability for the course.

Skills Required

• A keen interest in pharmacy and healthcare.
• Previous experience in the pharmacy industry or similar.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

We are recruiting for a Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to join a busy pharmacy team. This role is ideal for someone looking to progress within pharmacy and develop the skills and knowledge needed to become a registered Pharmacy Technician.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing, ordering, receiving and supplying medicines and pharmaceutical products safely and accurately
• Providing person-centred advice to patients on prescription and over-the-counter medicines, referring to healthcare professionals where appropriate
• Supporting the day-to-day running of the pharmacy, including business processes, stock control and clinical governance
• Supervising and supporting pharmacy support staff as you progress in the role
• Assisting with training and mentoring new members of staff
• Maintaining high standards through auditing, evaluating services and responding to feedback

Apprenticeship & qualification:

Level 3 Pharmacy Technician Apprenticeship (equivalent to A-level)
On successful completion, you will be eligible to register with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
Training delivered through a blended learning approach alongside your job
