Job summary

I & F Limited (T/A Skills4Group) in Swindon is offering a Pharmacy Technician Apprentice role within a busy pharmacy team. This apprenticeship supports progression to a registered Pharmacy Technician, with training delivered through a Level 3 Pharmacy Technician Apprenticeship and blended learning.

You will assist with the safe, lawful supply of medicines, support pharmacists and the wider healthcare team, manage orders and stock, provide patient advice, and develop hands-on skills to progress

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Maths and English (A-C/4-9) or equivalent.
• Willing to undertake Maths/English tests if not held.
• Strong interest in pharmacy and healthcare and good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage, order, receive and supply medicines and pharmaceutical products safely and accurately.
• Provide patient advice on prescriptions and over-the-counter medicines.
• Support day-to-day running of the pharmacy, including stock control and governance.
• Assist with training and mentoring new staff as you progress.

SN6 8AA- We are recruiting for a Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to join a busy pharmacy team. This role is ideal for someone looking to progress within pharmacy and develop the skills and knowledge needed to become a registered Pharmacy Technician.

Qualifications Required

GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent, in Maths and English desired but not essential as can be provided as part of the course.
For applicants without Maths and English Level 2 or equivalent qualifications, employment will be offered on condition of completing initial Maths and English tests to determine suitability for the course.

Skills Required

• A keen interest in pharmacy and healthcare.
• Previous experience in the pharmacy industry or similar.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

About the role:
As a Pharmacy Technician Apprentice, you will support the safe, effective and lawful supply of medicines while working closely with pharmacists and the wider healthcare team. We are recruiting for a Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to join a busy pharmacy team. This role is ideal for someone looking to progress within pharmacy and develop the skills and knowledge needed to become a registered Pharmacy Technician.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing, ordering, receiving and supplying medicines and pharmaceutical products safely and accurately
Providing person‑centred advice to patients on prescription and over‑the‑counter medicines, referring to healthcare professionals where appropriate
Supporting the day‑to‑day running of the pharmacy, including business processes, stock control and clinical governance
Supervising and supporting pharmacy support staff as you progress in the role
Assisting with training and mentoring new members of staff
Maintaining high standards through auditing, evaluating services and responding to feedback
Apprenticeship & qualification:
Level 3 Pharmacy Technician Apprenticeship (equivalent to A‑level)
On successful completion, you will be eligible to register with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
Training delivered through a blended learning approach alongside your job
