Job summary

I & F Limited (T/A Skills4Group) in Altrincham is recruiting a Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to join a busy pharmacy team. The role offers a Level 3 Pharmacy Technician Apprenticeship and a route to GPhC registration.

You will help manage medicines, advise patients, and support daily pharmacy operations while training. Wage depends on age and experience, with progression on completion.

Qualifications

• GCSEs at A-C (Maths and English desirable but not essential).
• Maths/English Level 2 or equivalent may be provided via the course; tests may determine suitability.
• Strong interest in pharmacy and healthcare.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently.

Responsibilities

• Managing, ordering, receiving and supplying medicines and pharmaceutical products safely and accurately.
• Providing patient advice on prescription and OTC medicines.
• Supporting day-to-day running of the pharmacy, including business processes and stock control.
• Supervising and supporting pharmacy support staff as you progress.
• Assisting with training and mentoring new members of staff.
• Maintaining high standards through auditing and responding to feedback

Brief Description

WA15 7UN We are recruiting for a Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to join a busy pharmacy team. This role is ideal for someone looking to progress within pharmacy and develop the skills and knowledge needed to become a registered Pharmacy Technician.

Qualifications Required

GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent, in Maths and English desired but not essential as can be provided as part of the course.
For applicants without Maths and English Level 2 or equivalent qualifications, employment will be offered on condition of completing initial Maths and English tests to determine suitability for the course.

Skills Required

• A keen interest in pharmacy and healthcare.
• Previous experience in the pharmacy industry or similar.

We are recruiting for a Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to join a busy pharmacy team. Key responsibilities include:

• Managing, ordering, receiving and supplying medicines and pharmaceutical products safely and accurately
• Providing person-centred advice to patients on prescription and over-the-counter medicines, referring to healthcare professionals where appropriate
• Supporting the day-to-day running of the pharmacy, including business processes, stock control and clinical governance
• Supervising and supporting pharmacy support staff as you progress in the role
• Assisting with training and mentoring new members of staff
• Maintaining high standards through auditing, evaluating services and responding to feedback

Apprenticeship & qualification:

• Level 3 Pharmacy Technician Apprenticeship (equivalent to A-level)
• On successful completion, you will be eligible to register with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
• Training delivered through a blended learning approach alongside your job
