Job summary

Nottingham Pharmacy is recruiting a Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to join a busy team. This role is ideal for career progression within pharmacy and developing skills to become a registered Pharmacy Technician.

You will learn to safely and legally supply medicines, work with pharmacists, and gain a nationally recognised Level 3 Pharmacy Technician Apprenticeship. Training blends on-the-job and coursework.

Qualifications

• GCSEs at A-C or 4-9, maths and English desirable but not essential.
• If Maths/English Level 2 not held, tests will determine course suitability.
• Willingness to learn and develop within pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Support safe, effective and lawful supply of medicines with pharmacists.
• Provide person-centred advice on prescriptions and OTC medicines.
• Assist with day-to-day running: stock control and governance.
• Supervise and support pharmacy support staff as you progress.
• Assist with training and mentoring new staff members.
• Maintain high standards via audits and feedback responses.

Brief overview of the role:

NG9 2LA We are recruiting for a Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to join a busy pharmacy team. This role is ideal for someone looking to progress within pharmacy and develop the skills and knowledge needed to become a registered Pharmacy Technician.

Qualifications Required:

GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent, in Maths and English desired but not essential as can be provided as part of the course.

For applicants without Maths and English Level 2 or equivalent qualifications, employment will be offered on condition of completing initial Maths and English tests to determine suitability for the course.

We are recruiting for a Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to join a busy pharmacy team. This role is ideal for someone looking to progress within pharmacy and develop the skills and knowledge needed to become a registered Pharmacy Technician.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing, ordering, receiving and supplying medicines and pharmaceutical products safely and accurately
• Providing person‑centred advice to patients on prescription and over‑the‑counter medicines, referring to healthcare professionals where appropriate
• Supporting the day‑to‑day running of the pharmacy, including business processes, stock control and clinical governance
• Supervising and supporting pharmacy support staff as you progress in the role
• Assisting with training and mentoring new members of staff
• Maintaining high standards through auditing, evaluating services and responding to feedback

Apprenticeship & qualification:

Level 3 Pharmacy Technician Apprenticeship (equivalent to A‑level)

On successful completion, you will be eligible to register with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)

Training delivered through a blended learning approach alongside your job
