Job summary

Windsor Pharmacy is offering a Pharmacy Technician Apprentice position within a busy pharmacy team. The role provides hands-on training to support the safe and lawful supply of medicines while working closely with pharmacists and the health care team.

The apprenticeship is Level 3 Pharmacy Technician Apprenticeship, with blended learning and potential for full-time employment on successful completion. GCSEs in Maths and English are encouraged, with tests if needed.

Qualifications

GCSEs in Maths and English (A-C or 4-9) or equivalent.
Willing to take Maths/English tests if needed for the course.
Interest in pharmacy and healthcare.
Ability to work as part of a team and independently.

Responsibilities

Managing, ordering, receiving and supplying medicines and pharmaceutical products safely and accurately
Providing person-centred advice to patients on prescription and OTC medicines
Supporting day-to-day running of the pharmacy, stock control and governance
Supervising and supporting staff as you progress in the role
Assisting with training and mentoring new members of staff
Maintaining high standards through auditing and responding to feedback
