Job summary

Skills4Group is recruiting for a Pharmacy Technician Apprentice in Weymouth. You will join a busy pharmacy team to develop skills needed to become a registered Pharmacy Technician.

The role provides a blended learning approach with hands-on experience working closely with pharmacists and the healthcare team. You will gain Level 3 Pharmacy Technician Apprenticeship (equivalent to A-levels) and be eligible to register with the GPhC on completion.

Qualifications

• GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 in Maths and English are required.
• Strong attention to detail and patient safety are essential.
• Good communication and customer service skills are needed.
• Willingness to learn and develop skills in pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Manage, order, receive and supply medicines and products safely and accurately.
• Provide person-centred advice to patients on prescriptions and OTC medicines.
• Support day-to-day pharmacy operations including stock control and governance.
• Assist with training and mentoring new staff as you progress.
