Job summary

Pulse Healthcare in West London is seeking a Band 5 Pharmacy Technician (ACT/Dispenser) to join a busy dispensary team. This full-time role runs Monday to Friday with an ASAP start and a 2-month duration with potential extension, located in West London.

You will perform accredited checking duties, support dispensing services, and help ensure patient safety and accuracy while adhering to regulatory standards and contributing to medicines optimisation.

Qualifications

• Be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
• Hold an Accredited Checking Technician (ACT) qualification.
• Have previous hospital pharmacy experience.
• Demonstrate strong dispensary and medicines management knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Work as an Accredited Checking Technician within the dispensary service.
• Accurately dispense and final check prescribed medicines in line with local policies and procedures.
• Support the safe and efficient day-to-day operation of the dispensary.
• Maintain high standards of accuracy and compliance with pharmacy regulations.
• Work collaboratively with pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and wider healthcare teams.
• Assist with stock management and medicines supply processes.
• Support medicines optimisation and patient safety initiatives where appropriate.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with professional standards.
