A leading pharmaceutical homecare company in Leighton Buzzard is seeking an Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician for a permanent full-time role. The position involves ensuring the precision of homecare prescriptions and supporting the pharmacist in dispensing tasks. Ideal candidates will have an Accuracy Checking Certificate and experience in a pharmacy setting. This role offers a stable work schedule of 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

  • Experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a similar environment.
  • Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Ability to work independently and accurately.

Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate final checking on homecare prescriptions.
  • Assist the responsible pharmacist with technical dispensing.

Job Description:

I am currently recruiting for an Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician (ACT) to work at a Pharmaceutical Homecare company based in Leighton Buzzard.

The company specialises in active temperature-controlled deliveries to hospitals, pharmacies, wholesalers, and medical care surgeries, as well as to end patients through its homecare business.

Working in their in-house dispensary, you will be required to provide accurate final checking on homecare prescriptions and provide technical dispensing assistance to the responsible pharmacist. A job description can be provided upon request.

This is a full-time permanent role, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
