We have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician Aseptic Services in Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust to join the Pharmacy Department at Pinderfields General Hospital. You will be responsible for supporting the delivery of high-quality pharmaceutical services by undertaking a wide range of technical duties within the Pharmacy Department, with a primary focus on Aseptic Services. You will manage the preparation of sterile medicines in accordance with regulatory and quality standards, contribute to the safe and effective supply of medicines, and support inclusion on the Trust Intrathecal Register. You will work collaboratively with pharmacy colleagues and multidisciplinary teams to ensure an efficient pharmaceutical service is provided to patients, wards, departments, and external healthcare organisations while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and care., As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining high professional standards and representing the Trust positively through your conduct, appearance, and approach to your role. TO undertake specialist dispensing activities involving clinical trials, unlicensed medicines, chemotherapy-related products, and emergency supplies while adhering to defined procedures and documentation requirements. TO contribute to workforce development by assisting with the training, guidance, and supervision of pharmacy staff, students, and colleagues while maintaining continued professional learning.
