Job summary

Whitstable Medical Practice is seeking a committed Pharmacy Technician to join our friendly multi-disciplinary team at Chestfield Medical Centre. You will work alongside our Pharmacy Technicians to process medicines for prescriptions under the supervision of Clinical Pharmacists, supporting safe, patient-centred prescribing.

This 37-hour role is based at our Chestfield site, with hours negotiated over 4/5 days and must include Monday and Friday.

Job description

Whitstable Medical Practice is looking for a committed and compassionate Pharmacy Technician to join our friendly and growing multi-disciplinary team. The successful candidate will be working alongside our current Pharmacy Technicians to provide support to our multi-disciplinary team by processing medicines for prescriptions, whilst under the supervision of our Clinical Pharmacists to ensure compliance with medicines management processes achieve highly effective, safe patient-centred prescribing.

Whitstable Medical Practice is a forward-thinking single practice Primary Care Network (PCN) GP Practice based across 3 sites in Whitstable. There are 22 equity GP Partners looking after over 45,500 patients. We pride ourselves on our innovative approach to Primary Care. We are a training practice and our state-of-the-art buildings provide access to a wide range of services and facilities, including:

We are looking for someone 37 hours a week to be based at our Chestfield Medical Centre site, however working pattern and hours can be negotiated over 4/5 days and must include Monday and Friday.
