We have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join our Primary Care team at HMP Whatton, a category C prison located in Nottinghamshire.

HMP Whatton is a male adult prison with a capacity of 855. The pharmacy team consists of 5 members and is based within the healthcare department.

Main duties of the job

Your responsibilities as a Pharmacy Technician will include providing patient-centered care, ensuring medicines management safety, delivering non-judgmental care within professional standards, and working as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications and Experience
  • NVQ Level 3 or above, BTEC or equivalent
  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council
  • Up-to-date CPD
  • Relevant pharmacy experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently following policies and procedures
Additional Information
