We have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join our Pharmacy team at HMP Doncaster, a category B Prison located in Doncaster, South Yorkshire.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide the highest standards of healthcare to our patients, without compromising on efficiency and quality.

Hours

Monday to Sunday

Main Shift: 07:00 - 17:30

Long Shift: 07:00 - 20:30

There is an expectation to work a mix of shifts, with no more than 2 weekends a month.

Salary

This position is full time, with an annual salary up to £40,211 per annum, depending on experience.

Main duties of the job

As a Pharmacy Technician, your responsibilities will include:

• Providing outstanding, patient-centered care, actively seeking and acting on patient feedback.
• Ensuring a safe and secure medicines management service, maintaining patient medical records to standard, and following SOPs diligently.
• Delivering non-judgmental care within professional standards, including timely administration of medicines and analyzing prescribing costs.
• Working as a key member of a multidisciplinary healthcare team to make a real difference.

Qualifications and Experience Required

• Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council
• Up-to-date with CPD
• Relevant post-qualification pharmacy experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work unsupervised following policies and procedures
