We have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join our Pharmacy team at HM The Mount, a category C training prison built on the site of a former RAF station on the outskirts of Bovingdon village, Hertfordshire.

In this role you'll be working with a multi-disciplinary team that will support you and help you succeed.

Hours

The site operates a 4 week rolling shift pattern, with long days for 1–3 weeks, followed by 1 short week.

Monday to Friday: 07:45 – 17:30

Wednesday to Friday: 07:45 – 15:00

Salary

You'll receive an annual salary up to £43,534 per annum – depending on experience.

What you'll be doing

As a Pharmacy Technician, your responsibilities will vary. You will:

  • Provide safe and secure medicines management and reconciliation service to the agreed standards.
  • Manage prescriptions and interventions, providing face to face advice to patients.
  • Provide continuity to care to patients upon discharge of care.
  • Build strong relationships within the multidisciplinary team.
  • Share information relating to medicines optimisations and drug regimes.

Qualifications & Experience required

  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council
