Job summary

An established industry player is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated registered Pharmacy Technician to join their friendly pharmacy team. University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, well-motivated registered Pharmacy Technician with excellent dispensing and communication skills to join our friendly pharmacy team as a Dispensary Pharmacy Technician.

This opportunity will involve working on a rotational basis across the Bournemouth and Poole hospital sites.

Upon successfully gaining 1 year's hospital experience, the post holder will progress to band 5.

This post is suitable for:

  • Qualified accuracy checking technicians who would like to specialise in the dispensary
  • Community-based pharmacy technicians looking for a career change

You should be able to work as part of a team but also have the ability to work flexibly and independently in a professional manner.

Main duties of the job

You will be expected to participate in our weekend, bank holiday, and late night rotas.

Base Location: Royal Bournemouth Hospital. Please note all staff being recruited are expected to be available to work flexibly across our new Trust sites when service demands require it.

This role requires registration to The Royal Pharmaceutical Society.
