NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is seeking a motivated individual to join the Enhanced Drug Treatment Service (EDTS) pharmacy team. We provide acute hospital, primary, community, and mental health services to a population of over 1.15 million, extending to 2.2 million when regional and national services are included.
The post involves a 7-day flexible rota, working under NHS rostering policy. This includes 1 in 2 weekends, bank holidays, and providing emergency cover as needed.
The EDTS is an innovative service within NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, operating 7 days a week, 365 days a year. It extends existing alcohol and drug recovery services to reduce individual and community drug-related harm. Delivered by a multidisciplinary team in a dedicated clinical environment, the pharmacy team plays a central role.
We are seeking a highly motivated, confident, and organized individual to join the EDTS pharmacy team. You will support the NHS GGC ADRS Lead Pharmacist in delivering high-quality pharmaceutical care. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your pharmacy skills within a supportive management structure and gain valuable experience as a key member of this specialist service.
