NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK, employing around 40,000 staff across various clinical and non-clinical roles. We provide hospital, primary, community, and mental health services to over 1.15 million people, and up to 2.2 million including regional and national services.
We have one permanent, full-time position (37 hours/week) at the West of Scotland Cancer Centre, with a shift pattern of 5 days over 7, including weekends, early openings, and public holidays.
Applicants should have a good general education, basic numeracy and literacy skills (3 standard grade qualifications or equivalent, including English and Maths), along with strong communication and IT skills, and the ability to work well in a team.
The role involves supporting the pharmacy team by managing routine tasks, participating in environmental monitoring and stock management, delivering training to Pharmacy Support Workers, and supervising attendance management.
Requirements include NVQ Level 2 or SVQ Level 2, SCQF Level 6 qualification, or equivalent experience in pharmacy. If not already achieved, SCQF Level 6 must be completed upon appointment.
