An exciting career opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, motivated, pharmacy support worker to join the technical services team at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals.
Currently housing 12 pharmaceutical isolators with another 3 due imminently within the cutting edge ATMP/clinical trial facility being developed within Weston Park, prospective candidates have a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of technical services in a large teaching hospital environment.

We provide nationally commissioned services and expertise in support of Early Phase Clinical Trials, and we are part of a leading national network for the development of cancer drugs of the future (Experimental Cancer Medicine Centre).
You will follow a structured internal competency based aseptic training program to enable you to assist with providing the highest standard of pharmaceutical service to our patients and ward staff. The successful candidate will commence employment on AFC Band 2 rising to a AFC Band 3 upon completion of 'In house' competencies and appropriate level 2 qualification approved by The General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
Please also note this vacancy is a training post so all applicants will start at Band 2 and upon completion of necessary skills and/ or training will progress to Band 3
