This is an exciting opportunity to join the pharmacy procurement team in providing accurate and timely distribution of pharmaceuticals across NHS Borders.

PSWs assist with the ordering, receipt, storage, and issue of pharmaceutical products in line with departmental procedures. Duties include receipt of medications from suppliers, efficient storage, stock management, stock checks, expiry checks, ward top-up services, and general support within the pharmacy department. This is a physically demanding role involving daily lifting, carrying, and bending.

Applicants must have Standard Grade Level 3, Nat 4 (or equivalent) in English, Mathematics/Arithmetic, and a commitment to achieving S/NVQ Level 2 Pharmacy Services or recognized equivalent qualification, or relevant units for the role.

Applicants should be able to cope in a busy, physical environment, and possess good interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, along with keyboard proficiency.
