NHS Professionals is seeking a Band 3 Pharmacy Support Worker to join the Pharmacy teams across Maudsley Hospital, Lambeth Hospital, and Bethlem Royal Hospital. The role is based in London and covers 37.5 hours per week, supporting safe medicines supply and dispensing for inpatients, discharges, and clinics.

You will be part of a flexible NHS staff bank, with development opportunities through NHSP’s academy and a supportive team focused on patient care and continuity of service across Trust

Formación

• Experience of dispensing within a Pharmacy Setting.
• Ideally has hospital experience but not essential.
• Confident in answering the phone and dealing with staff.
• GCSEs or equivalent in Maths and English Grade 4 or above (grades A-C).
• NVQ Level 2 in pharmaceutical services.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure medicines are supplied directly to patients or wards safely and promptly.
• Accurately dispense prescriptions for inpatients, discharges, outpatients and clinics.
• Undertake dispensing of Controlled Drugs in line with SOPs.

RESPONSIBLE FOR:

• Ensure that medicines are suppled directly to patients or wards in a safe and timely manner so that continuity of patient care is maintained.
• Accurately dispense prescriptions or other medication orders, for inpatients, discharges, outpatients and clinics across a wide range of specialities.
• Undertake the dispensing of Controlled Drugs in accordance with standard operating procedures.

To be successful in applying for this role you will need:

• Experience of dispensing within a Pharmacy Setting
• Ideally has hospital experience but not essential
• Confident in answering the phone and dealing with staff
• GCSE’s or equivalent in Maths and English Grade 4 or above (grades A-C).
• NVQ Level 2 in pharmaceutical services
