The role of the Pharmacy Support Officer (QA) is varied, ensuring you will never be bored!
You will work within the Quality Assurance area of Pharmacy, alongside the Aseptic unit, a specialised clean area where injectable products are manufactured. These products are used for chemotherapy patients or in diagnostic tests.
Your responsibilities include working in the Aseptic Cleanrooms, conducting microbiological and physical environmental monitoring, and performing temperature monitoring and data entry within the QA area.

The Aseptic Unit is a specialised clean area within Pharmacy where injectable products are manufactured. These products treat chemotherapy patients or are used in diagnostic tests.
The Aseptic service also supplies ready-made chemotherapy, intravenous nutrition, and other products to hospital patients. The team includes Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, Senior Pharmacy Support Officers, and Pharmacy Support Officers, all vital in delivering high-quality medicinal products.
