Job Overview

The role of the Pharmacy Support Officer (QA) is varied and engaging. You will work within the Quality Assurance area of Pharmacy, alongside the Aseptic unit, a specialised clean area where injectable products are manufactured. These products include chemotherapy treatments and diagnostic tests.

Your responsibilities include working in the Aseptic Cleanrooms, conducting microbiological and physical environmental monitoring, as well as temperature monitoring and data entry within the QA area.

Main duties of the job

• Environmental monitoring of the aseptic unit
• Disinfecting and transferring work into clean room hatches and isolators
• Data entry of paper and electronic records
• Daily and monthly temperature monitoring
• Approval and release of aseptic consumables
• Approval and release of rental laundry
• Filing prescriptions and documentation according to local policies and procedures
• Disposing of waste according to policies and procedures
