We have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Storeskeeper to join our Pharmacy department at The London Clinic, based at our main hospital site in London (W1G 6JA). We are offering a competitive salary (Band 2 NHS equivalent) per annum depending on experience.

Established in 1932, The London Clinic is one of the UK’s largest private hospitals, with 8 state-of-the-art facilities and approximately 1350 employees. We are dedicated to providing our patients with expert, individualized treatment and care. Our main hospital spans 8 floors, comprising over 150 patient beds and 10 operating theatres, including a Hybrid theatre and two minimally invasive/day surgery theatres. Our specialties include General surgery, ENT, Gynaecology, Hepatobiliary, Neuro-spinal, Ophthalmic, Orthopaedic, Plastic and reconstructive, Robotic, Urology, Vascular, and Bariatric surgery.

Job Profile

  1. Unpacking orders and storing stock, ensuring proper stock rotation and expiry checks.
  2. Collaborating with other pharmacy technical staff to ensure smooth pharmacy operations.
  3. Booking in stock and processing returns.
  4. Ordering and topping up department stationery and sundries.
  5. Managing sufficient supplies of pharmacy fluids.
  6. Supporting pyxis management.
  7. Managing daily ordering of medicinal products.
  8. Assisting the distribution team with returning unnecessary or incorrectly sent goods to suppliers.
  9. Maintaining accurate procurement records.
  10. Resolving order discrepancies, identifying late or outstanding orders, and returning stock to suppliers.
  11. Receiving deliveries and recording pharmaceutical and other stock orders using the pharmacy stock control system.
  12. Handling invoices and related queries promptly.
  13. Completing weekly invoice exemption reports.
