Job summary

University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant Technical Officer in the Stores and Distribution area. This Band 2, full-time role offers 37.5 hours per week, including weekends and bank holidays, to join a dedicated pharmacy team delivering ward services at UHNM.

You will be flexible, well organised and able to follow strict procedures, liaise with ward staff, and assist in stock control and order processing.

Qualifications

• IT skills, problem solving, and communication abilities.
• Experience in a Pharmacy setting is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Telephone duties and answering queries; taking adhoc orders.
• Assembly of ward and dispensary orders; receipt of medicines for onward supply.
• Undertake stock ordering and supply for wards; maintain stock levels.
• Support automated dispensing robot and day-to-day ward top-up service.
