Job summary

Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is offering a 15-month Level 2 Pharmacy Apprenticeship in the Churchill Hospital Pharmacy department, Banbury. You will train to become a Pharmacy Assistant while gaining hands-on experience under supervision.

You must have 4 GCSEs (grades 3+), and be a team player with good communication, attention to detail and the ability to work accurately in a busy hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Must have 4 GCSEs (grade 3 or above).
• Willingness to study a Level 2 BTEC in Pharmacy Support Staff.
• Team player with good customer and staff communication.

Responsibilities

• Undertake full practical in-house training to become a Pharmacy Assistant.
• Work under the supervision of a Pharmacist and alongside Pharmacy Technicians.
• Communicate clearly with patients and staff in a busy hospital environment.
