A leading NHS Trust is seeking a motivated Pharmacy Technician to join their team. The role involves leading technical staff, ensuring patient safety, and contributing to a positive work environment. This is a progressive position with opportunities for advancement.
MFT is one of the biggest, most ambitious, and progressive NHS Trusts in the country. We are responsible for running a family of nine hospitals across six sites, providing a wide range of services from comprehensive local general hospital care to highly specialised regional and national services.
You must be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council as a Pharmacy Technician or with The Science Council as a Science Manufacturing Technician.

You should be able to work accurately, quickly, and under pressure, with a good eye for detail. Prioritising workload to meet deadlines and delivering a high standard of patient-focused service are essential.
This role involves working 1 in 5 Saturdays as part of a rota, along with bank holiday and on-call duties. Posts are based at the Oxford Road Campus, with requirements to work across our other site at Wythenshawe.
Applications are welcome from Pharmacy Technicians/Science Manufacturing Technicians qualifying this summer, or from registered pharmacy technicians in community settings seeking career development at MFT.
This is a progressive role starting at Band 4, with potential to advance to Band 5 upon meeting specified criteria.
