The role involves greeting patients, nurses, doctors and other hospital staff at our reception and answering the phone to deal with queries. We use a pharmacy prescription tracking system, so the successful candidate will print off orders and discharge prescriptions and book them into our tracking system. There will be other house keeping duties including some cleaning, filing and admin work as part of this role.
Pharmacy is a forward thinking department that values the contribution of all our staff. This role is working in the Inpatient Pharmacy dispensary and is a vital role to supporting the Pharmacy service. The Inpatient pharmacy team at the LGI is a small, friendly and extremely supportive team. The work is often fast paced and requires multi-tasking and prioritisation.
