Pharmacy Operations Manager (Dispensary)

Position Overview

This is an excellent opportunity for a senior pharmacy technician to join us as a Pharmacy Operations Manager. You will be part of a diverse team delivering patient-centred care in a challenging, fast-paced environment, focusing on promoting health and well-being within prison healthcare services.

Role Responsibilities
  • Operational management of the registered pharmacy premises, including overseeing medicine supply and supporting the responsible person for the wholesale dealer's license.
  • Provide technical support to the dispensary team, manage performance, training, and development, and implement SOPs.
  • Support medicines management across OPS within BSGW prisons, ensuring compliance with practice guidelines.
  • Maintain pharmaceutical governance standards, promote best practices, and contribute to clinical audits.
  • Ensure legal and professional standards are met in handling medicines and manage compliance with the Wholesale Dealer’s Licence.
Qualifications and Experience

Suitable for a senior pharmacy technician with experience in pharmacy operations, medicines management, and team leadership.
