Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and a Class A Pharmacist license.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a retail environment.
• Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proven people management and staff leadership ability.
• Excellent customer service and professionalism.
• Experience using community-based marketing to grow business.
• Strong problem-solving and action-planning abilities.
• Computing proficiency and knowledge of Healthwatch/KROLL Pharmacy systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and provide guidance and direction to staff
• Responsible for hiring and managing the performance of staff
• Accountable for the financial and operational success of the department
• Prepare, dispense and control medications accurately and timely to patients
• Ensure medication and supplements inventory levels meet patients' needs
• Counsel patients on new medications in a friendly, proactive manner
• Educate customers through public relations activities
• Provide timely resolution to patients' needs and doctors' requests
• Review budgeted sales and net contribution
• Identify and report sales opportunities
